My mantra: You can never win if you quit before the end!
"I grew up in a sailing loving family and with only being 6 months old I did my first sailing trip. At 6 years I started in the Optimist and was the captain myself. Grown out of the Optimist I changed class to 420 at the age of 14. Three years later, with big dreams and goals in my head I went for the big step to the 49erFX."
"I met Hanna in second grade, which was about the time when she started sailing in the Optimist. She took me with her to the sailing club and that's when I fell in love with the sport. After sailing the optimist for six years, I switched to the 420. I enjoyed sailing a two-person boat and even though I went on an exchange year abroad, I couldn't stop sailing. I sailed the 29er, during my exchange year and since my return, Hanna and I are competing in the 49er FX."
